When the camera turns on, it will immediately start looking for the chessboard.
Setup your board and pieces
Place your board in view and arrange the pieces in the starting position. Wait for a correct lock onto the chessboard, then tap Start Game.
If it struggles to get a lock, try shifting the board slightly or nudge the camera. Disable power savings mode(s) on your device if the grid doesn’t match the board.
Playing
Now that you’ve selected Start Game, play begins. Your camera watches to see your hand leave its view to consider your move, so make sure you pull your hand away out of view after you make your move. Wait to hear your opponent’s move before you make yours.
Keep the board steady
Avoid moving the board or laptop during the game. If the grid becomes misaligned, you’ll need to manually realign it in the viewport or start over.
Take back a wrong move
If at any point the model finds a wrong move, you can select Take back, return to the previous position on the board, then select READY to resume.
